The Centre for Public Impact is a not-for-profit foundation, founded and funded by The Boston Consulting Group, dedicated to improving the public impact of governments. We bring together government leaders from around the world to learn and exchange ideas about strengthening positive outcomes for citizens.
Our Public Impact Fundamentals (view PDF) are a systematic attempt to understand what makes a successful policy outcome and describe what can be done to maximise the chances of achieving public impact. Legitimacy, alongside Policy and Action are three factors we have found to be fundamental to public impact.
CPI is a team of dedicated professionals, with a wealth of experience from the public and private sector. Our work is overseen by a Board of Trustees co-chaired by Sir Michael Barber, the former head of the UK Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit, and Larry Kamener, the founder of the Centre for Public Impact. Our team of CPI Fellows are independent experts in public service delivery from around the world.
